Suryakumar Yadav Dances Bhangra To Celebrate T20 World Cup Win In Delhi
Upon arriving back in India, Suryakumar Yadav couldn't contain his joy and danced to bhangra music at the team hotel in Delhi. The Indian cricket team, fresh from their T20 World Cup 2024 victory in Barbados on June 29, touched down in Delhi early Thursday morning.
The BCCI arranged a special Air India flight for the T20 World Cup champions after they were stranded in Barbados for four days due to hurricane Beryl. Thousands of fans gathered at Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3 to catch a glimpse of the Men in Blue and the gleaming T20 World Cup trophy.

From the airport, the team headed to their hotel where they received a warm reception. Suryakumar Yadav immediately broke into a bhangra dance upon stepping off the team bus. The video of his joyous dance has since gone viral.

Suryakumar Yadav was instrumental on the field, taking a remarkable catch at long-off during the first ball of the 20th over to dismiss David Miller. His batting prowess was also evident throughout the tournament.
After some rest following their 16-hour journey, Team India will meet PM Narendra Modi. They will then head to Mumbai for an open bus victory parade from Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium.
Celebrations in Mumbai
A small ceremony is planned at Wankhede Stadium where BCCI secretary Jay Shah will once again present the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy to Rohit Sharma and his victorious team.
