The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) also honoured Gavaskar's contributions to Indian cricket. "The Little Master turns 75 today. Wishing Sunil Gavaskar, the man who paved the way for Team India's batting revolution, a very happy birthday," RCB posted on 'X'.
Former Indian pacer Munaf Patel extended his wishes too. "Happy Birthday Suni (sic) Sir. Wishing you a healthy life ahead," he wrote.
