Star Sports Secures Exclusive Rights To Broadcast Global T20 Canada 2024 In India

Fans in India can anticipate the thrilling action of Global T20 Canada, broadcast exclusively on Star Sports. The fourth season of this premier North American T20 league starts on July 25 with a match between the Vancouver Knights and the Toronto Nationals, featuring Pakistan stars Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

The league phase will run from July 25 to August 6, with each of the six teams playing seven matches. The playoffs begin on August 9, culminating in the final on August 11. Tickets for these matches are available on the official website now.

Star Sports is renowned for its comprehensive cricket coverage, including events like the ICC T20 World Cup, Indian Premier League, and Big Bash League. The first league matches are scheduled for 8:30 PM IST (11 AM local time) in Brampton, Ontario, while the second match will be at 1:30 AM IST (4 PM local time).

Except for the opening match, each of the next ten league match-days will feature double-headers. There will be a total of 21 league games over 13 days, including two non-match days. This will be followed by four playoff games.

The double-header action kicks off with Bangla Tigers Mississauga facing Montreal Tigers on July 26. The Bangla Tigers feature Bangladesh star Shakib Al Hasan, while Montreal Tigers are led by Chris Lynn. Later that day, Brampton Wolves with David Warner will play against Surrey Jaguars featuring Marcus Stoinis.
