Smriti Mandhana Equals Record For Most ODI Centuries By An Indian Woman
India's women's cricket vice-captain, Smriti Mandhana, has equalled the record for the most centuries by an Indian woman in ODIs. On Wednesday, June 20, Mandhana scored her seventh ODI century against South Africa in Chennai, matching the record held by former India captain Mithali Raj.
The 27-year-old has also become the first Indian woman to score consecutive centuries in ODIs. In the previous match, she scored 117 runs and followed it up with another century in the second ODI against South Africa.

1st ODI Century
Mandhana's first ODI century came in 2016 against Australia. She scored 102 runs off 109 balls in Hobart.
2nd ODI Century
In the 2017 Women's World Cup, Mandhana scored an unbeaten 106 runs off 108 deliveries against West Indies in Taunton.
3rd ODI Century
Mandhana's third century, her highest score to date, was 135 runs off 129 deliveries against South Africa in Kimberley.
4th ODI Century
In Napier, Mandhana scored her fourth ODI century against New Zealand. She made 105 runs off 104 deliveries, hitting nine fours and three sixes.
5th ODI Century
This century came against West Indies women in Hamilton. Mandhana scored 123 runs, becoming the only Indian batter with two centuries on New Zealand soil. This knock came in 2022 after a three-year gap.
6th ODI Century
Mandhana's sixth century was her first on home soil. She scored 117 runs off 127 balls against South Africa in Chennai, hitting twelve fours and a six.
7th ODI Century
The seventh century also came against South Africa. Mandhana is currently unbeaten on 119 and is on course to set a new highest score in ODIs.
