Smriti Mandhana Matches Mithali Raj's Record For Most ODI Hundreds By India Women Batter

Smriti Mandhana made history with her seventh ODI century during the second match against South Africa Women at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, June 19.

Mandhana, who scored a match-winning 117 runs in the first ODI, matched former captain Mithali Raj's record for the most ODI centuries by an India Women batter. Mithali played 232 ODI games for India, concluding her career with seven centuries and 64 fifties.

Mandhana Equals Raj's ODI Record

The 27-year-old opener, however, achieved her seventh ODI century in just 84 matches. The India Women vice-captain has also accumulated 27 ODI fifties to date.
