Sanju Samson's Recent Form Positions Him As A Crucial Player For India's Cricket Success
Sanju Samson has finally demonstrated his remarkable talent after receiving consistent opportunities with the Indian cricket team. The Kerala-born cricketer has made a significant impact in his recent T20I appearances, scoring three centuries in his last five matches for India.
Following an impressive century against Bangladesh, Samson continued his form with another hundred against South Africa in Durban. Despite a couple of ducks, he bounced back with yet another century in the final match. His performances have been crucial for India.

After his stellar performance for India, Samson is set to lead Kerala in the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Kerala has announced a strong squad for the SMAT 2024-25 season, with Sanju as a central figure in the team.
Biju George, former India women's coach, praised Samson's abilities in an exclusive interview with MyKhel. "Sanju has absolutely arrived and no better way [to arrive]. He is an impact player. So, whenever he scores big, India is going to win. India or Kerala or Rajasthan Royals, whichever team he plays for, the minute he does good, they are going to win for sure," said George.
Samson remains a key player for Rajasthan Royals as their captain after being retained for Rs 18 crore ahead of the IPL mega auction. The IPL 2025 auction will be held in Jeddah on November 24 and 25, where several Kerala players are expected to participate.
Biju George believes that players like Sachin Baby, Vishnu Vinod, Azharuddeen, Abdul Bazith, and Salman Nizar have chances of being picked by franchises during the auction.
The 30-year-old batter aims to maintain his form in domestic cricket while awaiting India's next limited-overs series. Staying fit and continuing his excellent batting form will be crucial for him during this period.
George has witnessed Samson's growth from a young age and believes that he can reach greater heights in the coming years. His journey promises more success as he continues to excel on both domestic and international stages.
