India's captain, Rohit Sharma, has reached the pinnacle of a highly esteemed list following India's T20 World Cup victory in the West Indies.

At 37 years old, Rohit Sharma has achieved a win percentage of 84.6 in ICC tournaments, surpassing former Australia captain Ricky Ponting, who has a win percentage of 78.4. This record is based on captaining a minimum of 20 matches in ICC events.

Rohit Sharma has led India in four ICC tournaments. Under his leadership, India reached the semifinals of the T20 World Cup 2022 and lost the WTC Final last year.
