Rohit Sharma And Ritika Sajdeh Announce Baby Boy's Name Ahaan With Heartwarming Significance

Rohit Sharma, the captain of India's cricket team, and his wife Ritika Sajdeh have named their newborn son Ahaan. Ritika shared this joyful news through an Instagram Story with a Christmas theme, giving fans a peek into their expanding family.

The couple welcomed their second child in early November. Ritika's Instagram story featured a festive family ornament displaying the names of all four family members: Rohit (Ro), Ritika (Rits), Samaira (Sammy), and their newest addition, Ahaan.

Fans were thrilled by Ritika's charming reveal and many took to social media to extend their congratulations to the cricket star and his family.

The name Ahaan has its roots in Sanskrit and carries significant meaning. It translates to "dawn" or "beginning," symbolising a new chapter for the couple as they embrace parenthood again. The name also represents light and positivity, which are important aspects of Indian culture.

While celebrating his family's new addition, Rohit Sharma remains dedicated to his cricketing responsibilities. Currently in Canberra, he is leading India's preparations for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. After a practice match against the Australia PM's XI, Rohit will rejoin the team for the second Test in Adelaide, starting on December 6.
