Rohit Sharma Lands In India With Family, Viral Video Highlights Lamborghini And Luggage Reminder

Rohit Sharma has returned to India with his family, ahead of the ODI series against Sri Lanka. A viral video on July 25 showed Rohit arriving at Mumbai airport.

The 37-year-old cricketer was seen in a blue hoodie and green cap. He then got into his blue Lamborghini, which had been parked at the terminal exit.

Before driving home, Rohit informed his staff about their departure. His wife, Ritika Sajdeh, reminded him of their seven bags. "7 bag hona chahiye, 7," Rohit told his staff before leaving the airport with his family.

After India's T20 World Cup win on June 29, Rohit took a break from cricket. He met PM Narendra Modi and joined the victory parade on an open bus. The celebration continued at Wankhede Stadium where he was honoured for bringing the trophy back from Barbados.

Following these events, Rohit travelled to England to attend Wimbledon 2024. He then flew to the USA for various engagements. Despite retiring from T20Is after the World Cup win, he is available for the upcoming Sri Lanka ODIs.

Upcoming Series Against Sri Lanka

The ODI series against Sri Lanka starts on August 2. This will be Rohit's first series with India's new head coach Gautam Gambhir. Rohit will continue to lead India in both ODI and Test formats.
