Rohit Sharma Edges Closer To No.1 In ODI Rankings; Kuldeep Yadav Makes Significant Gains
India's Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav have made notable strides in the latest ICC ODI rankings. Their recent performances have significantly boosted their standings.
Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, has been recognised for his impressive batting in Sri Lanka. His quick 64 in Colombo's second game propelled him to third place in the ODI batter rankings. With a rating of 763 points, he is now just 61 points behind Pakistan's Babar Azam, who holds the top spot.

Rohit Sharma's rise has seen him replace Virat Kohli at third place, pushing Kohli to fourth. Despite scoring only 51 runs in the first two matches against Sri Lanka, Shubman Gill remains second. This means three Indian batters are now among the top ten players globally.
Shreyas Iyer, part of India's squad for the Sri Lanka ODIs, has dropped four places to 16th after a lacklustre performance in the initial matches.
