Rohit Sharma To Join Indian Team In Perth But Misses First Test Against Australia
Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team, is preparing to join his teammates in Perth. He stayed back for the birth of his second child but is now ready to travel to Australia.
The first Test match between India and Australia is scheduled for Friday, November 22, at Perth's Optus Stadium. With Rohit unavailable, Jasprit Bumrah has been appointed as the captain for this opening match.

Although Rohit will be in Perth, he won't participate in the first Test. Jasprit Bumrah will lead the team as it's too soon for Rohit to play with the match starting tomorrow.
Initially, Rohit considered staying longer with his family after his son's birth. However, he decided to fly to Australia earlier than planned.
Arrival in Perth on November 24
Rohit Sharma is expected to arrive in Perth on Sunday, November 24. Despite a delayed departure due to family commitments, he will be available for the second Test in Adelaide.
In addition to Rohit's absence, Shubman Gill is sidelined with a finger injury. Either Devdutt Padikkal or Abhimanyu Easwaran will replace him, with Padikkal currently being the frontrunner.
