Rohit Sharma Forgets Coin At Toss, Shares Laugh With Babar Azam In T20 World Cup
Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam shared a light-hearted moment during the toss in the T20 World Cup 2024 match between India and Pakistan.
The toss, delayed due to rain at Nassau County Stadium in New York, eventually took place amidst much anticipation. Ravi Shastri, the announcer, introduced the captains with enthusiasm, bringing smiles to their faces. As Rohit Sharma prepared to toss the coin, he momentarily forgot where it was.

Rohit's search for the coin amused Babar Azam, who burst into laughter. The two captains enjoyed a genuine moment of camaraderie before the high-stakes match. Eventually, Rohit found the coin and tossed it, but Pakistan won and chose to bowl first.
"We will bowl first because of the weather and moisture in the pitch. The conditions suit us; we have four fast bowlers. We will try to use it to our best. Past is past; we are looking forward to today's match. We are ready and will give our 100%. Always a big game, our confidence is always high for India vs Pak. Azam Khan is resting," said Babar Azam.
India's captain, Rohit Sharma, confirmed that he would have also opted to bowl first. He mentioned that India is playing with the same team from their last match.
