Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma Set For Action In Delhi Premier League Debut Match

Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma are set to dazzle fans with their skills as Purani Dilli 6 prepares for the inaugural Delhi Premier League (DPL). The league kicks off on Saturday at Shri Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

The first edition of the Delhi Premier League will feature 40 matches, including 33 men's and 7 women's games. All matches will be held at the prestigious Shri Arun Jaitley Stadium. The tournament runs from August 17 to September 8, 2024, promising thrilling cricketing action for fans and players alike.

Purani Dilli 6 has assembled a strong squad featuring explosive gloveman Rishabh Pant and experienced bowler Ishant Sharma. The team also includes allrounder Lalit Yadav and batting allrounder Shivam Sharma.

The franchise further strengthened its lineup by acquiring the services of 20-year-old opening batsman and off-spinner Arpit Rana, along with right-arm pacer Prince Yadav.

Purani Dilli 6 will face South Delhi Superstarz in their opening match of the Delhi Premier League. This match also marks the league's debut, scheduled for August 17 at 8:30 PM. Subsequent games are set for 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
