Rinku Singh's admiration for Yash Dayal on social media has generated significant attention after he shared it on his Instagram story on Saturday, May 18.

Yash Dayal bowled an impressive 20th over to secure Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) spot in the IPL 2024 playoffs. RCB faced Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a crucial match, needing to win by more than 18 runs. With CSK requiring 17 runs to qualify, Dayal was given the task of defending the score.

Despite being hit for a massive 110-metre six by MS Dhoni on the first ball, the left-arm pacer dismissed Dhoni on the very next delivery. Dayal then conceded only one run in the final four balls, leading RCB to a notable victory.

This performance marked a form of redemption for Yash Dayal. The left-arm pacer, previously with Gujarat Titans, had been hit for five consecutive sixes by Rinku Singh in IPL 2023, resulting in a loss for his team. Following that season, Gujarat Titans released him.

RCB acquired Dayal in the auction, and he has proven his worth this season. The Uttar Pradesh-born pacer has shown resilience and skill, contributing significantly to his team's success.
