The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) entered the IPL 2025 Mega Auction with a significant budget, retaining only three players as they aimed to rebuild their team. On the first day of the auction, RCB aggressively pursued top players, securing several high-profile signings. Despite these efforts, they still have gaps to fill and head into Day 2 with the largest remaining budget.

RCB made strategic moves on Day 1, acquiring six players to strengthen their core team. They spent Rs 52.35 crore and have Rs 30.65 crore left, the most among all teams. Key acquisitions include Phil Salt for INR 11.50 Cr and Jitesh Sharma for INR 11 Cr, both adding depth to their batting lineup.
