Pakistan Players Including Mohammad Amir And Saim Ayub To Compete In Lanka T10 Super League 2024
The inaugural Lanka T10 Super League is set to feature some of Pakistan's top cricket players. This event will take place at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy from December 12 to 22. The tournament promises exciting matches with six teams competing for the title.
During the Lanka T10 Super League Draft on November 10, 2024, in Colombo, teams selected top talents from around the world. The draft and pre-signings have brought eight Pakistani players into the league, showcasing their skills in this new format.

Four teams have already secured Pakistani players for their squads. Jaffna Titans signed left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir, while Kandy Bolts added opener Saim Ayub to their lineup. The Bolts also acquired fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani and experienced all-rounder Imad Wasim as a platinum direct signing.
Hambantota Bangla Tigers, led by former Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka, included all-rounder Ifthikar Ahmed as a platinum player through direct signing. Meanwhile, Colombo Jaguars strengthened their team with three Pakistani players: Asif Ali, Aamir Jamal, and Azam Khan as a platinum direct signing.
