Pakistan Plans Bilateral T20 Cricket Series With India In Neutral Venue By 2025
Reports suggest that Pakistan might extend an invitation to India for a bilateral T20 series at a neutral venue in 2025.
The PCB is adamant about keeping the Champions Trophy matches within Pakistan. However, they are open to hosting a T20I series with India at a neutral location. This topic will be a key point of discussion at the ICC annual conference.

UAE: The UAE has frequently served as Pakistan's home ground during bans, and India has no issues playing there. Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi are familiar to Indian players due to past IPL seasons. The significant fan base for both countries ensures packed stadiums.
USA: The excitement for India vs Pakistan matches in the T20 World Cup was immense. Thus, hosting the series in the USA is an option, despite logistical challenges.
England: England is another viable venue, having always supported both nations. If both boards agree, the ECB would likely have no objections to hosting a T20 series across various English venues.
Amidst the Champions League dilemma, reports from Pakistan indicate that PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi plans to discuss this with BCCI secretary Jay Shah during the ICC meeting in Colombo.
A PCB source stated, "The proposal will be discussed during the meeting of Mohsin Naqvi with Jay Shah (BCCI secretary), with matches potentially scheduled during the free days of both teams after the Champions Trophy."
The Indian government and BCCI have raised concerns about security and political issues, which might prevent India's team from traveling to Pakistan. Despite this, Pakistan has assured that all Champions Trophy matches involving India will be played in Lahore, with the Indian team staying in one hotel throughout for security reasons.
The proposal for a T20 series could significantly impact relations between the two countries. India and Pakistan haven't played a bilateral series since 2013. However, India's participation may depend on government approval.
