IPL 2025: CSK's Bid To Have MS Dhoni Play As Uncapped Player Through Rule Revision

We have to see what decision they take on player retention etc. Right now, the ball is not in our court," Dhoni said in Hyderabad.

Despite CSK's efforts, their plan to retain Dhoni at a lower cost has failed. The franchise will need to explore other options to keep their star player ahead of the mega auction.
