MS Dhoni's Monumental Six Marks Highlight Of IPL 2024 RCB Vs CSK Match
IPL 2024 Longest Six: MS Dhoni, one of cricket's most celebrated finishers, showcased his prowess in a crucial match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, May 14.
The 42-year-old wicketkeeper-batter scored 25 runs off just 13 balls but was unable to secure the necessary runs to take his team to the playoffs.

CSK needed 17 runs off the final over to qualify for the playoffs, with Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja at the crease. On the first ball of the 20th over bowled by Yash Dayal, Dhoni hit a massive six, launching a 110-metre shot out of the ground.
The first ball from the left-arm pacer was a full toss on the middle and leg, which Dhoni pulled over fine leg and out of the stadium, despite not hitting it cleanly.
This reduced the equation to 11 runs from 5 balls. However, Dhoni was dismissed on the next ball, and Yash Dayal held his nerve to lead RCB to the playoffs. As a result, CSK was eliminated, leaving fans to wonder if this was Dhoni's final match.
Despite failing to pull off the run chase for CSK in this must-win game, fans expect Dhoni to return in the Yellow jersey next season and entertain them again.
Throughout this season, despite an injured knee, Dhoni showcased his batting skills and proved there is still a lot of cricket left in him.
