MLC Season 2 Welcomes International Stars: From Pat Cummins To Marcus Stoinis

Pacer Pat Cummins and all-rounder Marcus Stoinis have joined USA's Major League Cricket (MLC) for the upcoming Season 2. The World Cup-winning duo were signed as international players, adding significant talent to the league.

Cummins has inked a four-year deal with the San Francisco Unicorns. Stoinis, who recently scored a century against Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024, has been picked up by Texas Super Kings.

The second season of the USA franchise T20 league, which has received List A status from the ICC, is scheduled to take place from July 6 to 29.

Cummins will be joined by fellow Australian Jake Fraser McGurk at the Unicorns. Stoinis will team up with compatriot Aaron Hardie at the Super Kings.

Earlier, Glenn Maxwell, Travis Head, and Steve Smith signed with Washington Freedom. They will play alongside New Zealand's Rachin Ravindra and Australia's Jack Edwards under Ricky Ponting's guidance.

Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan, South Africans David Miller, Aiden Markram, Anrich Nortje, and Nandre Burger, West Indies' Romario Shepherd and Obed McCoy, and New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell have also joined MLC. Below is a detailed list of international signings for 2024:
