Highlights From Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 Auction: Expensive Buys And Team Squads
The third edition of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20, organised by the Karnataka State Cricket Association, is scheduled for next month. Before the tournament, teams had the opportunity to assemble their squads during the auction.
The auction for the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2024 took place on Thursday, July 25, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Over 100 players, including some with IPL experience, were up for grabs.

Six teams participated in the bidding war: Gulbarga Mystics, Mangaluru Dragons, Mysore Warriors, Bengaluru Blasters, Hubli Tigers and Shivamogga Lions. Chetan LR emerged as the most expensive player at Rs 8.60 Lakh. Shreyas Gopal, Krishnappa Gowtham and Luvnith Sisodia also fetched over Rs 7 Lakh each.

The base prices for players were set as follows: Category A at Rs 2 Lakh, Category B at Rs 1 Lakh, Category C at Rs 50,000 and Category D at Rs 25,000.

- Hubli Tigers: Manish Pandey, Manvanth Kumar, KL Srijith, Vidwath Kaverappa, Mohammad Taha, Hardik Raj, KC Cariappa.
- Gulbarga Mystics: Vyshak Vijaykumar, Devdutt Paddikal, Smaran Ravi, Aneesh KV, Pravin Dubey, Luvnith Sisodia, Sharath BR.
- Mangaluru Dragons: Nikin Jose, Rohan Patil, Siddharth KV, Paras Gurbax Arya, Dharshan MB, Shreyas Gopal, Dheeraj Gowda.
- Mysore Warriors: Karun Nair, Manoj Bhandage, CA Karthik, SU Karthik K Gowtham J Suchith Vidyadhar Patil Venkatesh M.
