KL Rahul Takes On Flight Simulator, Showcases Adventurous Spirit
Indian cricketer KL Rahul recently took on an exciting new challenge by stepping into a Boeing 737 flight simulator at Flight 4 Fantasy in Mumbai. In a video shared on Instagram, Rahul's excitement is evident as he experiences the thrill of flying for the first time.
"This is amazing! I've never experienced anything like this before. It's like being in a real cockpit!" Rahul exclaimed in the video, highlighting the immersive nature of the experience. Guided by an instructor, he was encouraged to take control, with the advice, "Okay, KL, now it's your turn to take control. Remember, gentle movements." Rahul responded with enthusiasm, "Got it! This is so cool! I feel like a real pilot now!"
The session wasn't without its nerve-wracking moments. Reflecting on the experience, Rahul shared, "We went inverted like from the left once and then from the right once. We just went straight and then straight down, so the entire 20 minutes I was just like straight looking anywhere else. That was 100% scary. I thought that I was going to throw up. That little aircraft, that was my blooper moment."
Despite initial nerves, Rahul embraced the challenge. He added, "I was enjoying it till I enjoyed it, but then I kept in, so I'm proud of myself." The instructor praised his efforts, noting, "Great job, KL! You're a natural," to which Rahul gratefully responded, "Thanks! This is an incredible experience. I never knew flying a plane could be so much fun!"
