Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are set to face off in the IPL 2024 final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday, May 26. KKR, who topped the league stage, secured their place in the final by defeating SRH in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, SRH finished second in the league stage and had to play Qualifier 2 against Rajasthan Royals (RR) after losing to KKR. SRH managed to secure their spot in the final by defeating Rajasthan by 36 runs on Friday, May 24.

The two teams have already met twice this season, with KKR emerging victorious on both occasions. KKR won their IPL 2024 opener against SRH by four runs and later defeated them by eight wickets in Qualifier 1.
