IPL 2024 Final: SRH's Early Losses Against KKR Spell Trouble
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have faced a challenging start in the IPL 2024 Final against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). After KKR's captain Pat Cummins opted to bat first, SRH's innings began on a difficult note against the KKR bowlers.
In a repeat of their Qualifier 1 performance, SRH lost Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head within the first two overs. Mitchell Starc dismissed Abhishek Sharma with an impressive delivery, uprooting his stumps.

In the second over, Vaibhav Arora sent Travis Head back to the pavilion for a Golden Duck. The Australian opener edged one straight to KKR's keeper Rahmanullah Gurbaz.
Both Head and Abhishek had been key players for SRH during the IPL 2024 league phase, scoring numerous runs. However, their performances in the playoffs have been underwhelming. Head was dismissed for a duck in both playoff matches against KKR, while Abhishek managed only a couple of runs in the Final.
Fans expressed their disappointment with the SRH openers on social media following their early dismissals. One user labelled the pair as 'Chokers' after their quick exits.
