Kavya Maran's Delight On Securing Pat Cummins For SRH In IPL 2024 Auction Captivates Fans

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are set to compete in their third IPL Final, facing Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, May 26.

SRH has emerged as one of the top teams this season. Following a 10th-place finish last year, the team has made a strong comeback. Strategic decisions during the auction have significantly contributed to their success.

One of the key moves was investing heavily in Australian pacer Pat Cummins. SRH secured Cummins for Rs 20.50 crore, making him the most expensive buy in IPL history at that time. Cummins was also appointed as captain, replacing Aiden Markram.

The decision to appoint Cummins as captain has proven effective. He has excelled with the ball and led the team to the IPL 2024 Final.

SRH owner Kavya Maran is known for her strong connection with the team. She attends all matches and travels with the team across the country. Her reactions during games are popular among fans.

A picture of Kavya Maran has gone viral on social media ahead of the IPL 2024 Final. The image captures her reaction immediately after securing Pat Cummins in the auction. The picture has garnered over 50 thousand likes across various platforms.

Some experts questioned Cummins' price tag, but SRH's gamble has paid off. Cummins has been instrumental in their success, along with other signings like Travis Head.

The decision to trade in Shahbaz Ahmed also proved beneficial. The all-rounder played a crucial role in their Qualifier 2 victory over Rajasthan Royals.
