Karnataka Players Set For IPL 2025 Mega Auction: KL Rahul Leads With High Base Price
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Mega Auction is set to take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A total of 574 players have been shortlisted for this event.
Among these players, 366 are Indian, while 208 are from overseas, including three from associate nations. The auction will feature 48 capped Indian players, some with captaincy experience.

The auction also includes 318 uncapped Indian players who have participated in domestic tournaments across various age groups. These players will be part of the bidding process.
Each year, state associations from India are represented in the IPL Mega Auction. This year, Karnataka State Cricket Association has 24 players participating, including several experienced cricketers.
KL Rahul leads the Karnataka contingent with a base price of Rs 2 Crore. As a senior player, he is expected to attract high bids during the first day's proceedings.
Joining Rahul at the Rs 2 Crore base price are fellow Karnataka cricketers Prasidh Krishna and Devdutt Padikkal. Both are capped players and will be called early in their respective categories.
Mayank Agarwal and K Gowtham enter the auction with a base price of Rs 1 Crore each. Manish Pandey is listed at Rs 75 Lakh.
The remaining Karnataka players are uncapped and have a starting price of Rs 30 Lakh each. Notable names include Vyshak Vijaykumar, Abhinav Manohar, Shreyas Gopal, and Pravin Dubey, all with prior IPL experience.
