IPL Auction 2025: Venkatesh Iyer And Liam Livingstone Among Top Five Most Expensive All-Rounders

Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis was another significant acquisition, fetching ₹11 crore from Punjab Kings (PBKS). Known for his finishing skills and medium pace bowling, Stoinis proved invaluable during IPL 2024 by scoring 388 runs. His move to PBKS strengthens their middle-order lineup.

Ravichandran Ashwin's return to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) was highly anticipated. The veteran off-spinner, boasting 180 IPL wickets, was acquired for ₹9.75 crore. Ashwin is expected to contribute both as a bowler and batsman for CSK, utilizing his skills in middle overs and lower-order batting.

Harshal Patel joined Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) after an intense bidding session for ₹8 crore. Known for his slower deliveries and death-over expertise, Patel has been a standout performer in previous seasons, notably winning the Purple Cap in IPL 2021.
