IPL 2025 Mega Auction: Key Details On Mohammed Shami's Bidding Schedule
The IPL 2025 mega auction is set to commence on 24 November 2024 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A total of 1584 players have registered for this event, promising an exciting mix of talent. Among them, 574 players are in the pool, with 366 being Indian and 208 from overseas.

Shami debuted in the IPL with KKR in 2013 and has been a consistent performer since then. His career gained momentum with Punjab Kings from 2019 to 2021 before joining Gujarat Titans in 2022, where he made a significant impact over two seasons.

Bidding Timeline for Mohammed Shami
Bidding wars are anticipated among franchises for marquee players like Shami. As he is in the second set, his bidding will start after the first set concludes, which could take around 50 minutes from the auction's start time.
If proceedings begin at approximately 3:30 PM IST onwards, it is expected that Shami's set will start between 4:20 PM to 4:30 PM IST. Should his name be last among those six players, his turn might come around 5 PM IST.
