IPL 2025 Auction Reveals Players With Rs 1.50 Crore Base Price Including David Miller And Nitish Rana
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the final list of players for the Indian Premier League (IPL) Mega Auction. This event is set to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The auction will occur on the 24th and 25th of November, 2024.
Initially, 1574 players registered for the IPL 2025 Auction. After a thorough review by franchises, this number was reduced to 574 players. Among these, 366 are Indian players and 208 are from overseas, including three from associate nations.

The auction will feature a total of 318 uncapped Indian players and 12 uncapped overseas players. There are a maximum of 204 slots available, with 70 reserved for international players. The highest base price is set at Rs 2 Crore.
A notable group of players have registered at the Rs 1.50 Crore base price, which is the second-highest category. This list includes both Indian and international capped stars like David Miller, Rachin Ravindra, Ajinkya Rahane, and Nitish Rana.
New Zealand and West Indies cricketers are prominent in this category. Rachin Ravindra, who contributed significantly to Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024, leads New Zealand's representation at this price point.
Joining Ravindra from New Zealand are all-rounders Jimmy Neesham and Michael Bracewell. Batter Mark Chapman, wicketkeeper-batter Tom Latham, and bowlers William O'Rourke, Tim Southee, and Kyle Jamieson complete the list.
From the West Indies, T20I captain Rovman Powell is included alongside all-rounders Akeal Hosein, Romario Shepherd, Kyle Mayers, and Sherfane Rutherford. The list also features one South African player along with several from Australia, England, Afghanistan, and India.
