IPL 2025 Auction: Comprehensive Country-Wise Breakdown Of Players Entering Mega Auction
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that 574 players have been shortlisted for the IPL Mega Auction 2025. This event is set to take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The list was narrowed down from an initial pool of 1574 registered players, following feedback from the franchises.
Among these players, 366 are Indian, including 318 who are uncapped. The list also features 48 capped Indian stars like Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer. Additionally, some uncapped Indian players who participated in previous IPL seasons are included.

The overseas contingent comprises 208 players, with three hailing from Associate nations. Australia and England each have a strong presence with 37 players. Notable names include Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone, Glenn Maxwell, and Mitchell Starc.
South Africa follows with 31 players making the cut. New Zealand and West Indies contribute 24 and 22 players respectively to the final list. Players from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Ireland, USA, and Scotland also feature among the international entries.
The auction will see participation from players representing a total of 13 countries. Like their Indian counterparts, the international list includes both capped and uncapped talents alongside renowned IPL figures such as Phil Salt, Noor Ahmad, Rovman Powell, and Sikander Raza.
