IPL 2025 Auction To Feature Multilingual Commentary On JioCinema For Fans Worldwide

The IPL 2025 Auction is eagerly awaited and will occur on November 24 and 25, 2024, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A total of 574 players are available for selection by the 10 franchises. The event will be broadcast live on JioCinema.

This year's auction features a varied mix of players, with 366 from India and 208 from overseas, vying for 204 spots. Among them are 241 capped players (48 Indian and 193 overseas) and 330 uncapped players, including three from Associate Nations.

Franchises can use Right-to-Match (RTM) cards to retain players from their 2024 squads. Notable names in the auction include Yuzvendra Chahal, KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Jos Buttler, Kagiso Rabada, Mitchell Starc, and David Miller. These stars promise intense bidding battles.

JioCinema will offer the auction in six languages: Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bangla. An expert panel will provide live commentary and pre-show insights.
