IPL 2024 Showdown: Who Leads With The Most Sixes?
Sunrisers Hyderabad's Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen are in a tight race to finish with the most sixes in IPL 2024. As SRH faces Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2024 final at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday, May 26, both players have one last opportunity to increase their sixes tally.
Abhishek Sharma currently leads the chart with 42 sixes this season. Klaasen follows closely with 38 sixes. Virat Kohli, who is set to win the Orange Cap in IPL 2024, also has 38 sixes. Nicholas Pooran of Lucknow Super Giants is fourth on the list with 36 sixes in 14 matches. Rajat Patidar from RCB and Riyan Parag from Rajasthan Royals each have 33 sixes.

KKR's Sunil Narine and SRH's Travis Head have also made their mark with 32 sixes each. Delhi Capitals' Jake-Fraser McGurk and CSK's Shivam Dube ended their campaigns with 28 sixes each.
Abhishek Sharma is on the verge of joining an elite group of cricketers who have hit the most sixes in previous IPL editions. Chris Gayle, a former RCB and West Indies player, topped the list in four seasons. Indian cricketers like Robin Uthappa, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and KL Rahul have also led in this category in past seasons.
