The opening day of the warm-up match between India and the Prime Minister's XI was cancelled due to continuous rain in Canberra, preventing even the toss from occurring.

Rohit Sharma's team was scheduled to face the Australian PM's XI in a day-night match at Manuka Oval. The toss was planned for 2:10 PM AEDT, with play starting at 2:40 PM AEDT.

With the first day called off on November 30, both teams have agreed to play a 50-over game on December 1, weather permitting. The match is set to begin at 2:40 PM AEDT (9:10 AM IST).

This two-day match was intended as preparation for India's upcoming pink-ball Test in Adelaide, part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. However, rain delayed and eventually cancelled the start without a toss.
