T20 World Cup 2024: India's Strategy For Bangladesh Warm-Up Match
India is set to play their only warm-up match ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday, June 1, against Bangladesh. The match will take place at Nassau County in New York. India will begin their campaign on June 5 against Ireland.
Team India is considered one of the favourites for this tournament. Bangladesh, on the other hand, has been struggling and will aim to recover and challenge India. The Tigers recently lost a series against the USA, which has been a setback for them.

All 15 squad members and the four travelling reserves are in the USA for World Cup preparations. As India faces Bangladesh on Saturday, it is generally expected that all 15 members will get a chance to play.
Since warm-up matches are not official ICC matches, more than 11 players can participate. Therefore, the Indian team plans to give all their players some game time. Key players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will test their batting skills, while Jasprit Bumrah and others will focus on refining their bowling techniques.
There will be an official playing XI, but players can be rotated in as needed to bat or bowl.
Rohit Sharma (c), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Rishabh Pant (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah
Rotational Players: Mohammed Siraj, Axar Patel, Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal
Will the Travelling Reserves Play?
The four travelling reserves will not participate in the match. Although they will be present at the stadium, they won't have any role in the warm-up match.
