India Matches Record For Lowest Total Defended In T20 World Cup Victory Over Pakistan
Team India equalled the record for the lowest total defended in T20 World Cup history with a six-run win over Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Sunday, June 9.
In match 19 of the T20 World Cup 2024, India managed to defend a target of 120 runs, restricting Pakistan to 113/7 at the completion of their 20 overs on a challenging surface in New York.

India's defence of 120 runs ties with Sri Lanka's defence against New Zealand, where they bundled out the Kiwis for 60 runs in the 2014 T20 World Cup. This achievement marks India's lowest total ever defended in the tournament's history.
