India's cricketing legends, including Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, and Sunil Gavaskar, celebrated the nation's T20 World Cup victory. They believe this triumph will inspire young aspirants to chase their dreams.
Dhoni, who led India to their first T20 World Cup win in 2007, praised Rohit Sharma's team for reclaiming the title after 17 years. He commended their composure during challenging moments in the final against South Africa.

"WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS 2024. My heart rate was up, well done on being calm, having the self-belief and doing what u guys did," Dhoni wrote on Instagram. He also thanked the team for a memorable birthday gift ahead of his 43rd birthday.
Sachin Tendulkar expressed his joy on social media, highlighting India's fourth star on their jersey. He mentioned that this victory follows two 50-over World Cup wins in 1983 and 2011 and the inaugural 2007 World T20 triumph.
Tendulkar reflected on India's journey from a disappointing exit in the 2007 ODI World Cup to becoming a cricket powerhouse. He praised Rahul Dravid's significant contribution to this victory and lauded Rohit Sharma's leadership.
"What can one say about Rohit Sharma? Superb captaincy! To put the 2023 ODI World Cup loss behind and to keep all our players motivated towards the T20 World Cup is commendable," Tendulkar said.
