Nandini Sponsors Ireland In T20 World Cup 2024: A Closer Look
India faced Ireland in the opening match of their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign in New York.
India's captain, Rohit Sharma, won the toss and opted to field. This decision has proven advantageous as Arshdeep Singh took two early wickets, putting Ireland in a difficult position.

However, a notable aspect that caught the spectators' attention was the branding of an Indian company on the Irish team's shirts. During Ireland's batting, a logo on their shirt sleeves and training kit chest drew significant attention.
Ireland Shirt Logo
The logo features a cattle in front of a sun with the name "Nandini" written in English and Kannada.
The interest among fans about Nandini is understandable. Nandini is an India-based milk cooperative from Karnataka and serves as the shirt sponsor for Ireland. They are also sponsoring Scotland in this T20 World Cup. The sponsorship fee per match is reportedly Rs. 2.5 crore.
In addition to Nandini, another major milk cooperative, Amul, is sponsoring South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the USA in this T20 World Cup.
