India Sets Record With 150th T20I Win, Leading Global Cricket Milestones
India has made history by becoming the first team to secure 150 T20I victories. This milestone was achieved after their win against Zimbabwe in the third T20I on Wednesday, July 10.
A second-string Indian squad, captained by Shubman Gill, is participating in the Zimbabwe series. They delivered another impressive performance, winning by 23 runs. This victory also gave India a 2-1 lead in the series.

India began their T20 cricket journey in 2006 and has now reached 150 wins in this format. Pakistan follows with 142 victories, while New Zealand is third with 111 wins.
The Indian team has played a total of 230 T20I matches, securing 150 victories. They have lost 69 matches, while six matches ended without a result. Additionally, five matches ended in a tie for India.
India has competed against 18 teams in the T20I format. Their first match was against South Africa in 2006, which they won. The team also clinched the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 and repeated this success in the T20 World Cup 2024.
