IND vs BAN, T20 World Cup Warm Up: In the final ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up match, India clinched a resounding victory over Bangladesh by 62 runs at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
The match showcased a stellar performance by returning star Rishabh Pant, who marked his comeback with a splendid half-century, laying the foundation for India's commanding win.

Opting to bat first, India faced an early setback as Sanju Samson departed for a single run. However, captain Rohit Sharma, partnering with Rishabh Pant, steadied the innings. Pant, showcasing his aggressive batting prowess, retired after a blistering 32-ball fifty, adorned with four fours and an equal number of sixes.

India set a challenging target of 183 runs for Bangladesh. Despite commendable efforts by Mahedi Hasan, who picked up a crucial wicket, Bangladesh struggled to contain the Indian onslaught. Arshdeep Singh's impressive bowling spell rattled Bangladesh's top order, reducing them to 10 for three in the fourth over.
Although Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmadullah showed resilience with a 70-run partnership for the sixth wicket, it wasn't enough to overhaul India's imposing total. Shivam Dube's two wickets in the final over sealed the deal for India, restricting Bangladesh to 122 for nine.
