ICC Rankings: Yadav Remains No. 1 Batter, Nabi Tops All-Rounder Chart
The latest ICC rankings have been released, and Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi has secured the top spot as the number one T20I all-rounder. This achievement comes after his impressive performance in the ongoing T20 World Cup. India's Suryakumar Yadav continues to hold his position as the leading batter. The rankings update was issued by the ICC on Wednesday, June 12.
Previously top-ranked Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh has dropped to fifth place. In the batter's rankings, Afghanistan's Rahmanullah Gurbaz has climbed to the 12th spot, marking his career-highest ranking. Gurbaz is currently the leading run-scorer in the tournament with 156 runs from two innings.

Despite facing criticism for poor results, Pakistan captain Babar Azam has moved up one position to third place. Australia's Travis Head has entered the Top 10 bowlers by advancing six places to the tenth position.
England's Adil Rashid maintains his top spot among bowlers, followed by Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga. Afghanistan's Rashid Khan and Fazalhaq Farooqi are now ranked third and fourth, respectively. South Africa's Anrich Nortje shares the fourth spot with Farooqi. Rashid Khan has taken six wickets in two matches, while Farooqi leads the tournament with nine wickets from two games. Nortje follows closely with eight wickets in the same number of matches.
Significant Moves in Bowler Rankings
Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, and Rishad Hossain have also made notable advancements in the rankings. They are now positioned at 13th, 19th, and 30th, respectively. These changes underscore the intense competition among bowlers in the T20 World Cup.
India pacer Jasprit Bumrah has risen 42 places in the T20I bowler rankings to reach the 69th position. Currently, Axar Patel is the highest-ranked Indian bowler, sitting at seventh place. Mohammed Siraj has also moved up 19 positions to secure the 68th spot in T20I rankings.
