The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named New Zealand's Amelia Kerr and Pakistan's Noman Ali as the ICC Player of the Month for October 2024. This announcement was made on Tuesday, November 12. Kerr and Noman were chosen as the ICC Player of the Month for October 2024 after a vote by global fans registered at icc-cricket.com and a panel of ICC Hall of Famers, former international players, and media representatives. Kerr surpassed fellow Women's T20 World Cup stars Deandra Dottin and Laura Wolvaardt to win the award. Meanwhile, Noman outperformed other top wicket-takers like Kagiso Rabada and Mitchell Santner in last month's ICC World Test Championship matches.
