Gautam Gambhir Eyes WTC Title To Craft Legacy Beyond Rahul Dravid's Achievements

Gautam Gambhir has taken over as Team India's head coach, succeeding Rahul Dravid. His first assignment will be the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, which includes three T20Is and three ODIs.

Under Dravid's guidance, India reached the WTC 2023 final but lost to Australia. Despite this, Dravid celebrated a significant achievement by winning the T20 World Cup as a coach. Currently, Team India leads the WTC 2023/25 points table with a 68.51% success rate from six wins, two draws, and one loss in nine games. The next Test series for Rohit Sharma's team is scheduled against Bangladesh in September at Chepauk and Kanpur.
