Flipkart's 'Express Delivery' Jibe At CSK Goes Viral, Deleted Amid Backlash
Chennai Super Kings faced a significant setback on Saturday, May 18, when they were defeated by Royal Challengers Bengaluru, resulting in their elimination from the IPL 2024.
Following a 27-run loss, CSK was overtaken by RCB for the fourth and final playoff position. The Southern Derby was filled with intense moments but ultimately favoured the Bengaluru team, who will now proceed to Ahmedabad for the Eliminator.

Chennai's exit from the group stages came as a surprise to many, given their status as one of the two most successful franchises in IPL history. This marks the second consecutive year that CSK has failed to qualify for the playoffs after winning the trophy in the previous season.
Flipkart's Viral Video
In the aftermath of CSK's defeat, various humorous jabs were directed at the franchise. Notably, online e-commerce giant Flipkart posted a video that quickly went viral on social media. The video featured a person wearing an RCB Virat Kohli shirt and carrying a package on his head.
Social Media Reaction
The caption of Flipkart's video read, "Looks like an express delivery of band-aids to Chennai." The post garnered over 6200 likes and reached nearly 1.63 lakh users on X before it was deleted by Flipkart after a few hours.
Fan Reactions and Post Deletion
The video did not sit well with Chennai fans, leading to its removal from social media. Flipkart, headquartered in Bengaluru, seemed to have been caught up in the excitement of RCB's victory but perhaps went too far in their celebrations.
