Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 13-year-old from Bihar, made history by becoming the youngest player ever auctioned in IPL history. The Rajasthan Royals secured him for ₹1.1 crore during the auction held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His age at this milestone was 13 years and 243 days.

Ayush Mhatre, a promising 17-year-old from Mumbai, has caught the eye of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) before the IPL auction. His performances in domestic cricket, especially in the Ranji Trophy, have led CSK to invite him for trials scheduled from November 17 to 22, 2023.

Mhatre's first-class career includes five matches where he scored 321 runs at an average of 35.66. His notable innings of 176 runs against Maharashtra in the Ranji Trophy further highlights his potential as a future star.

Despite being one of the youngest players at the IPL auction, Andre Siddharth went unsold. The event took place on November 24-25, 2024, in Jeddah. Although no bids were placed for him, Siddharth remains a talented cricketer with opportunities likely ahead.

Kwena Maphaka - 18 Years - Unsold

Kwena Maphaka, an 18-year-old pacer from South Africa, also went unsold during the IPL auction held in Jeddah. Previously part of Mumbai Indians' squad, Maphaka was among the pool of players seeking contracts but did not attract any bids this time around.

Allah Ghazanfar - 18 Years - Mumbai Indians

Allah Ghazanfar from Afghanistan was acquired by Mumbai Indians for ₹4.8 crore during the auction. His journey from a fast bowler to a mystery spinner under Dawlat Ahmadzai's guidance has been remarkable. He gained recognition at the U-19 World Cup and recently debuted in ODIs against Ireland.

Suryavanshi's achievements include becoming the youngest batter to score an international century in a Youth Test match against Australia U-19 with a score of 104 off just 62 balls. Earlier this year, he debuted in the Ranji Trophy at age 12.

The bidding war for Suryavanshi saw intense competition between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals before Rajasthan secured him. This reflects both his potential and marketability as a young talent.

Ghazanfar's performance includes taking eight wickets in four matches during the U-19 World Cup and claiming six wickets against Bangladesh in ODIs. These achievements underscore his rising profile on an international stage.
