Perry's century was remarkable. She scored 105 runs from just 75 balls, hitting seven fours and six sixes. This was the fastest ODI hundred against India in women's cricket history.

The match saw Australia Women dominate with a powerful performance led by Ellyse Perry and Georgia Voll. Opting to bat first, they posted a formidable total of 371 for 8, their third-highest in ODIs, leaving India Women with a challenging target.

Perry's explosive innings grabbed attention, but Voll's maiden century was equally crucial. Her aggressive 101 off 87 balls set the stage for Australia's commanding position.

Voll stepped up as an opener due to Alyssa Healy's injury. She impressed with her aggressive play, hitting 12 boundaries and forming a strong 130-run partnership with Phoebe Litchfield, who added a steady 60 off 63 balls.
