Duleep Trophy 2024: Complete Squads Announced By BCCI With Gill And Iyer Leading

The BCCI has unveiled the squads for the Duleep Trophy 2024, featuring four teams. The tournament will commence on September 5 in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, and at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Previously a zonal competition, this year's Duleep Trophy will see four teams (Team A to D) competing. The team with the highest points at the end of the Round Robin league will be declared the winner.

Team A: Shubman Gill (C), Mayank Agarwal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel (wk), KL Rahul, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Tanush Kotian, Kuldeep Yadav, Akash Deep, Prasidh Krishna, Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan, Vidwath Kaverappa, Kumar Kushagra, Shaswat Rawat.

Team B: Abhimanyu Easwaran (C), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (wk), Musheer Khan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohd Siraj, Yash Dayal, Mukesh Kumar, Rahul Chahar, R Sai Kishore, Mohit Awasthi, N Jagadeesan (wk).

Team C: Ruturaj Gaikwad (C), Sai Sudharsan, Rajat Patidar, Abishek Porel (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, B Indrajith, Hrithik Shokeen, Manav Suthar, Umran Malik, Vyshak Vijaykumar, Anshul Khamboj, Himanshu Chauhan, Mayank Markande, Aryan Juyal (wk), Sandeep Warrier.

Team D: Shreyas lyer (C), Atharva Taide, Yash Dubey, Devdutt Padikkal, Ishan Kishan (wk), Ricky Bhui, Saransh Jain, Axar Patel , Arshdeep Singh , Aditya Thakare , Harshit Rana , Tushar Deshpande , Akash Sengupta , KS Bharat (wk) , Saurabh Kumar .

Shubman Gill will captain Team A. Abhimanyu Easwaran is set to lead Team B. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer will head Teams C and D respectively.

Nitish Kumar Reddy's participation depends on his fitness. Mohammed Shami was expected but isn't in the squad. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli won't play any part in this tournament. Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah are also absent.

A number of top Indian players will participate in this tournament. This year’s format ensures competitive matches among the four teams.
