Cricket Icons Donate Memorabilia For KL Rahul-Athiya Shetty's Charity Auction
KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty are leading an auction to benefit children supported by the Vipla Foundation, formerly known as Save The Children Foundation. This event will feature memorabilia from various cricket legends, with all proceeds going to the foundation.
The couple has enlisted numerous cricket stars for their initiative, who will donate some of their cricketing gear. Notable cricketers like Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma have pledged items of significant sentimental value for the auction.

The auction will present a range of valuable cricket memorabilia. Items include bats from MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Rahul Dravid, each starting at Rs 3.5 lakhs. Virat Kohli's gloves have a starting bid of Rs 50,000.
Additionally, jerseys from KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah will start at Rs 1.5 lakhs each. KL Rahul's helmets are also part of the auction, with a minimum bid of Rs 50,000.
Other prominent cricketers contributing to this cause include Ashwin, Shreyas Iyer, Chahal, Pant, Samson, Jadeja, and players from LSG. International stars like Buttler, de Kock, Stoinis, and Pooran will also participate by donating their cherished items.
Cricket Fraternity's Support
"When I reached out to the cricket fraternity, they were just as supportive in donating their precious cricket items for this great cause. By participating in the auction and bidding for the memorabilia, each bidder is joining us in making a difference in the lives of these truly special children," KL Rahul said about the initiative.
The proceeds from this auction will provide much-needed support to children under the care of the Vipla Foundation. This effort highlights how sports can play a pivotal role in driving social change and supporting vulnerable communities.
The event promises not only to be a unique opportunity for fans to own a piece of cricket history but also a chance to contribute to a noble cause. Rahul, who is currently in Sri Lanka for the ODI series, didn't confirm the date of the auction.
Anyone willing to take part in the auction will have to log in to the official website of Pundoles and register their name. The details of the auction will be provided there.
