Rohit Sharma has been included in Cricket Australia's T20 World Cup 2024 XI, but not as the captain. Instead, Afghanistan's Rashid Khan has been named the captain of this team. Alongside Rohit, two other Indian stars, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah, have also made it to the eleven.

Travis Head will open with Rohit Sharma. Rohit scored 92 runs against Australia and 57 against England in the semi-final. Travis Head scored 76 runs against India and is currently the top-ranked T20I batter globally.
