Chris Jordan Achieves Historic 9th Hat-Trick At T20 World Cup 2024
The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 has been a spectacle of hat-tricks, with the tournament witnessing its third of the season on Sunday, June 23. England pacer Chris Jordan became the latest bowler to achieve this feat, securing three consecutive wickets against co-hosts USA.
Jordan dismantled the USA lower order in the 19th over, claiming four wickets in total. He dismissed Corey Anderson with the first ball of the over. After a dot ball, he took out Ali Khan, Nosthush Kenjige, and Saurabh Netravalkar in successive deliveries. The USA innings collapsed for just 115 runs, losing their last five wickets without adding to their total.

Jordan's hat-trick also marked him as the first Englishman to achieve this milestone in T20 World Cups.
3rd Hat-Trick of T20 World Cup 2024
This edition of the T20 World Cup has seen its third hat-trick. Australian pacer Pat Cummins secured consecutive hat-tricks against Bangladesh and Afghanistan recently in the Super Eights. Cummins is now the only bowler to achieve two hat-tricks in a row in any World Cup format.
