Chennai Super Kings Unveils Themed Airbus A320 Neo For Fans Amid Mixed Expectations

Chennai Super Kings has delighted its fans with exciting news. The popular IPL team unveiled a video showcasing an Airbus adorned in Chennai Super Kings' colours.

The Airbus A320 neo from Etihad Airways is decorated in Yellow and Blue, featuring the Chennai Super Kings crest prominently. The CSK flag is also visible, accompanied by the caption, "Yellove takes flight. Including our newly themed livery."

Earlier this year, Etihad Airways became the official sponsor of Chennai Super Kings. A grand event took place in Chennai at Kalaivanar Arangam to mark this partnership. Former CSK players Deepak Chahar and Simarjeet Singh attended the unveiling ceremony.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, expressed enthusiasm about this collaboration.

Fans have speculated whether the CSK team will use this Airbus for travel during IPL 2025. However, MyKhel reports that this is unlikely to happen.

While it would be spectacular to see MS Dhoni and his team flying in the themed Airbus, Etihad Airways primarily operates flights between Chennai and Abu Dhabi. Therefore, this aircraft will likely serve that route.

The UAE-based airline is among the largest globally, and this initiative strengthens its bond with CSK.
